A Timeless Message
Company is coming.  We scurry about, cleaning the living room.  Dusting.  Vainly trying
to wipe the discolored rings off the cover of the family Bible on the end table.  Darkness
hangs over those pages which could otherwise light our way through the fog of
confusion we call life.  But the
“lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path” (Psalm 119:
105)
rates no higher than a table coaster.

Musty.  Outdated.  Irrelevant.  Those are all mistaken views of the most time-honored of
all writings—the Bible.  Its words predate each of  us and will remain long after we are
gone.  Therefore, we are actually the ones who are irrelevant,
“Forever, O Lord, your
word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

Cultures come and go.  However, the Bible is cross-cultural, examining and exposing
the very heart of humanity,
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than
any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

Good literature comes and goes.  However, the Bible is timeless, its message vibrant
and alive,
“having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through
the word of God which lives and abides forever” (1 Peter 1:23).

Ideas come and go.  However, the Bible remains constant and more relevant than those
ideas, which like dust have blown through the winds of time,
“as His divine power has
given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who
called us by glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).

This website is dedicated to ONE purpose--upholding God's word and glorifying Him
through the study and teaching of His word. This website is my humble and insignificant
gift to Him in return for the unmeasurable gifts He has given to me.
